To start off with, this rental has 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and a pull-out couch for extra guests. This means that this rental can sleep 11 people comfortably, and there is plenty of space if you want to bring the kids and place sleeping bags on the floor.
Speaking of space, this place truly is spacious, and I’m not just referring to the vaulted ceilings! There are two master suites and a media room downstairs, each having its own TV with DVD player for late night movies and group hangouts. And then upstairs has the fully equipped kitchen, living room, and dining room, each with a view of the beautiful Anahola Bay! In fact, if you are up for a walk, you are just a short hike from the bay itself. So you can spend your days combing the sand and spend your evenings watching the bay from your lanai.
Don’t want to simply lounge on a chair to watch the ocean? Well, that’s fine. This rental has a hot tub, allowing you to sip a cool drink while sitting in hot, moving water while you enjoy the view. And Hale Ylang Ylang is a short walk from the bay. In fact, from the second story of this well-furnished home, you can see the bay as well as the mountains. The view is truly breathtaking, but a pretty picture isn’t all this town home has to offer.
Upstairs you will find a large living room decorated with wood floors, warm tones, and soft plush couches. The kitchen is also on the second floor, fully equipped with all you should need to prepare delightful meals for your whole family. I mean, why come all the way here to visit the bay, see the sights, learn to surf, and eat at Tahiti Nui when you’ll just have to travel a long way back to your home or hotel? No, the better idea is to stay in a nice rental on the island that is just 5 minutes walking distance from Hanalei Bay, a place like Blue Nui.
Blue Nui is a two-bedroom vacation rental just a short walk from everything Hanalei has to offer. The house itself has a full kitchen, cathedral ceilings, high speed Internet, a plasma TV, a bbq out back, and a washer/dryer unit. In other words, it has all of the comforts of home, plus some. The floors are made of bamboo, giving the entire house a comfy Hawaiian feel. And, for those who want to go take a dip in the bay, there is an outdoor shower so you don’t get your home all salty and sandy.
Looking out the windows or sitting out on the lanai, you’ll see lush vegetation, sprawling mountain ranges, and waterfalls. The yard even boasts its own tropical garden, so you can experience the jungles of Kauai without the hiking tour. And since the house sleeps five people, you can bring your friends with you to supplement the costs. Now doesn’t that sound like a much better way to visit Hanalei?

First of all, when I say this is a big house, I mean it. With three bedrooms and two bathrooms, this house can easily sleep 6 with space enough in the living room for another few people on an air mattress. It was designed with a modern flair and all of the rooms are open, giving the house a spacious feel.
My favorite part of this house is the Master Suite, an almost independent area of the house just for you and your significant other. The Master suite is large with a King-sized bed and its own private bathroom. Plus, there is a sliding glass door leading into the backyard for easy access. So you can slip out together at night and enjoy the tropical night air while you watch the stars.
The house is a short stroll from a nearby shopping center, so you won’t ever have to worry about locating a store or a fresh cup of morning coffee. In fact, others who have stayed in this house have used their mornings to walk to the local coffee shop and then wander Princeville, a tradition that is the best part of any morning.

Haena Place is located a short distance from the park and is a great home away from home for tourists and visitors alike. With two bedrooms and 1 ½ baths, this is an exemplary house for small families of four or less. It is situated on a quiet cul-de-sac and is only a short walk from many great beaches. Plus, unlike a hotel room, it’s fully furnished and has a good-sized kitchen full of equipment.
A few added amenities include cable television, a DVD player, a telephone, and a glorious deck that overlooks the lush tropical mountains. But mostly this house is amazing because of its location and price. So if you are planning on staying near the North Shore during your vacation, check out this property. I just know that your family will love it here.
I understand that Kauai can be expensive. After all, you use up some money flying to the island, only to have to afford housing once you arrive. However, don’t let that detour you for Spring Break this year. You could rent a four-bedroom house for yourself and several of your friends and save a fortune. And I have just the house for you: Nani Kai.
Nani Kai has lots of space and is perfect for a Spring Break getaway. There are several beds and lots of floor space, so you can house a whole bunch of your friends. Plus, Nani Kai is close to town and a short walk to the beach, the local bars, restaurants, shops, and everything else Hanalei has to offer. This way you don’t have to spend a fortune on transportation.
Renting a house is great for Spring Break because you can be as loud and as messy as you want, as long as you pick up before you leave. And you don’t have to eat out for every meal unless you want to do so. You could stock the house with food and even cook meals in your own kitchen. And for the guys who want to play with fire, there is even a BBQ on the property.
Nani Kai has a big back yard for running around with friends and playing touch football and other games. There is a romantic gazebo in back for privacy and a view of the mountains from the house. If you split the cost, you could well afford a dream vacation.

Families with small children love having multiple things to do during the day. Children, I have noticed, run on two settings: lightspeed and sleeping. So I wanted something for them that had the uniqueness they were searching for and entertainment for the kids. This house had it all: a hot tub, cable television, DVD player (and VCR for old school parents), CD player, high speed internet access, and an easy 5 minute walk to the nearest beach. There was so much for this family to do, I was sure they would enjoy their vacation without worrying about anyone getting bored.
And for the parents, there had to be a little something special. Hale Oli is the perfect romantic getaway, even with kids. There are three lanais to choose from, so there is always a place of solitude, and the views from this house are some of the best on the island. The house is located in Haena, a gorgeous spot at the end of the road on the north side of the island. From the house, you can see Mount Makana and the rest of the majestic Haena mountains. Plus, there is an incredible ocean view from the east lanai. On the back lanai, the couple could take late night trips to the hot tub to watch the stars and dream about their lives together. It seemed absolutely perfect.
Of course, they aren’t the only family who needs a place to stay on Kauai. If this house sounds like something you would be interested in renting for a while, then make that call. I can think of no better place for relaxation, comfort, fun, enjoyment, romance, and uniqueness.
If you want to visit the caves or anything else on the north shore of Kauai, chances are that you’ll want to stay somewhere nearby. Might I recommend a Hanalei vacation rental for your stay? Hanalei is a quaint and lovely town filled with art lovers and friendly people. And it is one of the most beautiful places in Kauai, for it has the Hanalei Bay (the most sought-after tourist spot on the island). Lokelani is a vacation home in Hanalei just 200 steps from the sand of beautiful Hanalei Bay. So, you will be right in the middle of things, able to walk to the beach or into town for a quick shopping trip or a meal in one of the fine restaurants. Not to mention the fact that there is a gorgeous garden and views from the house of the distant waterfalls and turquoise bay waters.
But, of course, the location isn’t everything… though it sure counts for a lot. The house itself is lovely, with bamboo floors and artistic touches throughout. There are two bedrooms and an extra daybed, so up to five adults can sleep there comfortably, and there are two bathrooms so there will be no fighting over counter space in the mornings. Plus, this home comes with all of the best amenities from a full-service kitchen and laundry room to high speed internet, television, and an outdoor grill for cooking up some of the local flavor. If you want to walk down to the beach for a swim in the bay, you can. And when you get back, you can easily rinse off in the outdoor shower so you don’t drag sand and saltwater into your home.
The freedom of having your own getaway home is a priceless comfort, and this house provides exactly what you need: living space, the ability to escape the crowds, a kitchen to save you money on eating out, closeness to shops and the beach, and a wealth of things to do. In fact, the only thing that I didn’t like about this house was the quilt on the bed. It was perfectly warm and snuggly at night, but I didn’t like the colors. And if that is the only thing I can find to hate about this house, I think you’ll be truly happy with it. Enjoy!
