Want to vacation in style for Christmas? Then you should come and stay at Hale Ola Guest House for the holidays and enjoy the luxurious comfort that a private home can provide.
Most people think that vacationing on Kauai is expensive. But honestly, you can save a fortune if you simply rent a vacation home instead of purchasing a hotel room for the week. Instead of paying $1,000 a night for a nice room, why not pay $2,400 for an entire week and enjoy the privacy and comfort of your own home-away-from-home?
The Hale Ola Guest House is a lovely house in Hanalei with a close proximity to the ocean and a scenic view from each window. We are talking historic beachfront property here people, and it could be all yours during your winter vacation. Amenities for this property include cable TV, DVD/VCR, CD player, beach access, a private lanai, and nearness to Hanalei Town and all it has to offer. Plus, you won’t have to worry about the neighbors in the hotel room next to yours keeping you up all night.
This is a nice vacation home with historic significance, but don’t worry – it is up to date and ready for a resident or two. With two bedrooms, one bathroom, and a complete kitchen, any small family or set of couples would enjoy spending their time here. But spending time indoors isn’t what Kauai is all about. That’s why you can walk a short pathway down to the beach and spend the day soaking up the sun and playing in the water.
You can learn to surf, get a tan, go out to eat every night, and enjoy a private breakfast in your own living room the next morning. Thus is the wonder of a vacation home. So if you plan to visit Kauai, consider this beautiful Guest House for your lodging needs.
If you are planning on visiting Kauai over the holidays and need a nice vacation rental home for your whole family, I have a recommendation for you. Consider staying at Anahola Aloha Beach House on the East side of the island. You will only be a short jaunt from the North side of the island where all of the fun happens. Plus, you will absolutely LOVE this rental. Let me tell you about it.
To start off with, this rental has 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and a pull-out couch for extra guests. This means that this rental can sleep 11 people comfortably, and there is plenty of space if you want to bring the kids and place sleeping bags on the floor.
Speaking of space, this place truly is spacious, and I’m not just referring to the vaulted ceilings! There are two master suites and a media room downstairs, each having its own TV with DVD player for late night movies and group hangouts. And then upstairs has the fully equipped kitchen, living room, and dining room, each with a view of the beautiful Anahola Bay! In fact, if you are up for a walk, you are just a short hike from the bay itself. So you can spend your days combing the sand and spend your evenings watching the bay from your lanai.
Don’t want to simply lounge on a chair to watch the ocean? Well, that’s fine. This rental has a hot tub, allowing you to sip a cool drink while sitting in hot, moving water while you enjoy the view. After you finish with the hot tub, you can come inside and sit down to dinner, a dinner you can make yourself in the large kitchen complete with every appliance you will need to make a spectacular meal. (And if you are the type of cook who loves counter space, you will simply drool over this kitchen.)
Need table linens and dinnerware? They’re provided. Need a washer and dryer to clean sandy clothes? They’re provided. Need a vacation home that sleeps 11+, is a short drive to Kilauea and Kapaa, is a short walk to the beach, and that starts at only $3000/week? Well, this house provides that. All you have to do is rent it.
Well, maybe it’s not a real castle, but how about a beautiful and spacious vacation rental home with a rock wall around the outside? If you are coming to Kauai and plan on stay on the North side of the island, I recommend Hale Ylang Ylang as your temporary home. Why? Because it’s nothing short of a wonderful escape from the rigors of life.
Hanalei Bay is one of the biggest tourist attractions in Kauai, a crescent shaped bay of white sand against crystal blue waters and backed by luscious mountains. And Hale Ylang Ylang is a short walk from the bay. In fact, from the second story of this well-furnished home, you can see the bay as well as the mountains. The view is truly breathtaking, but a pretty picture isn’t all this town home has to offer.
Upstairs you will find a large living room decorated with wood floors, warm tones, and soft plush couches. Add to this a DVD/CD player, cable TV, and high speed internet access and you have all of the comforts of home. The kitchen is also on the second floor, fully equipped with all you should need to prepare delightful meals for your whole family. This gourmet kitchen has an island counter to make prep easy and bar counter seating so your friends and family members can chat with you while you cook.
At the end of each day, you can journey downstairs where you will find two private master bedrooms containing King-sized beds and en suite bathrooms. There is even an outdoor shower for each suite so you can visit Hanalei Bay and then rinse off before slipping under the sheets. Of course, two suites mean that you can easily make this getaway a trip for two couples. While many vacation rentals, including this one, can easily accommodate a small family, finding a rental that allows privacy for two couples is much harder. Yet, with this rental, you can grab your best friends and vacation in style right near the beach!
Hale Ylang Ylang really does provide everything you might need to enjoy your vacation: a place to cook, a place to sleep, a beautiful view, a close proximity to adventure, a privacy shield made of rock, and a private lanai on which you can lounge. And if that weren’t enough, you would also be just a short walk away from town, a place where you can go shopping, eat at quality restaurants, enjoy some spa services, or rent equipment for water sports and other activities. This place has it all.
When you are looking for a vacation rental, what things are most important to you? Is it a large television? Close proximity to hiking trails or the beach? Enough bedrooms to sleep 6-8 people? Internet access?
Well, for me it is all of those things. I want to truly relax in comfort when I rent a home, no matter where I am. And if you are the same way, then you will love Hale Luana, a vacation rental home in Haena.
Hale Luana is a large vacation rental that is comfortable and right on the beach. That’s right – the backyard is literally the sandy shore of the ocean. In the front yard, there is a large plot of beautiful green grass where your family or friends can play touch football or throw frisbees. And there is a large patio/deck/lanai furnished with chairs and a table, so you can lounge in the sun while enjoying the scene.
On the inside, this three bedroom – two bath house is fully equipped for your needs. First of all, the basics of the house are all there. Both bathrooms have showers, so you can vacation with just your family or invite a second family along and each use a separate bathroom. The rest of the house is fully furnished with comfortable beds, teak and bamboo furniture, and enough space for a large group to be comfortable. The kitchen is also well stocked with appliances and a marble countertop.
Additional amenities that you might enjoy are the high speed internet access, cable TV with DVD/VCR/CD player, gas grill, and outdoor shower to rinse off after a beach adventure. This beautiful and spacious home sleeps eight and would be ideal for a large family or group of friends. Plus, at only $4,500 a week for all of that, you would be hard pressed to find a better deal on the island.
While we’re talking about Hanalei, you might also need a place to stay. I mean, why come all the way here to visit the bay, see the sights, learn to surf, and eat at Tahiti Nui when you’ll just have to travel a long way back to your home or hotel? No, the better idea is to stay in a nice rental on the island that is just 5 minutes walking distance from Hanalei Bay, a place like Blue Nui.
Blue Nui is a two-bedroom vacation rental just a short walk from everything Hanalei has to offer. The house itself has a full kitchen, cathedral ceilings, high speed Internet, a plasma TV, a bbq out back, and a washer/dryer unit. In other words, it has all of the comforts of home, plus some. The floors are made of bamboo, giving the entire house a comfy Hawaiian feel. And, for those who want to go take a dip in the bay, there is an outdoor shower so you don’t get your home all salty and sandy.
Looking out the windows or sitting out on the lanai, you’ll see lush vegetation, sprawling mountain ranges, and waterfalls. The yard even boasts its own tropical garden, so you can experience the jungles of Kauai without the hiking tour. And since the house sleeps five people, you can bring your friends with you to supplement the costs. Now doesn’t that sound like a much better way to visit Hanalei?
Want a luxurious island retreat for your visit to Kauai? Do you love to golf? Well, let me tell you a bit about Hale Mikana right here in Princeville.
Located on the famous Makai Golf Course in a prestigious resort community, this vacation rental has everything you could ever want… seriously. The backyard has a large private pool and a grassy area for children to run and play. The house also boasts two spacious lanais (like patios) where you can watch the sunset over the ocean or experience the refreshing night air of a tropical island. But that’s just the outside.
The inside is fully furnished with dark cherry cabinets, granite and marble countertops, limestone floors, and beautiful bedroom sets that complement the style and elegance of the house. There are four bedrooms and three full bathrooms with a half-bath for guests, and the house can comfortably sleep up to 10 people. This is perfect for corporate retreats, large groups, and even large families.
Speaking of large families, kids will have a great time in this vacation rental. Not only is there a large pool in the backyard with a removable safety fence, but the rental owners provide beach toys (including snorkeling gear), beach chairs, Boogie boards, bikes, and coolers that you can use free of charge. Just be careful with them; lost or damaged items will be charged to your account.
Other amenities include a BBQ for cooking up the fish of the day, air conditioning for warm days, a large screen TV with cable and DVD player, and a fully equipped kitchen. Those who want some fun out on the town will love the fact that this home is a short walk from both Princeville golf courses, the children’s park, a large shopping center, many restaurants, and several beaches.
Did I mention that this rental has it all?
So if you are coming to Kauai and want a truly restful vacation experience, stay at Hale Mikana in Princeville.
If you want a great vacation rental option, Hale Keko is a large, beautiful home on a quiet and peaceful cul-de-sac. The furnishings inside are simple and comfortable, and the view from the outside is breathtaking.
First of all, when I say this is a big house, I mean it. With three bedrooms and two bathrooms, this house can easily sleep 6 with space enough in the living room for another few people on an air mattress. It was designed with a modern flair and all of the rooms are open, giving the house a spacious feel.
My favorite part of this house is the Master Suite, an almost independent area of the house just for you and your significant other. The Master suite is large with a King-sized bed and its own private bathroom. Plus, there is a sliding glass door leading into the backyard for easy access. So you can slip out together at night and enjoy the tropical night air while you watch the stars.
The house is a short stroll from a nearby shopping center, so you won’t ever have to worry about locating a store or a fresh cup of morning coffee. In fact, others who have stayed in this house have used their mornings to walk to the local coffee shop and then wander Princeville, a tradition that is the best part of any morning.
I know that, if you come and stay in this house, you will enjoy your visit. Plus, with great amenities like wireless internet, a flat screen TV, an outdoor BBQ, a washer/dryer unit, and a fully equipped kitchen, you won’t ever want to leave.
If you are going to be visiting Haena State Park, then you’ll want to stay somewhere nearby, right? Well, if it helps, I know a great place: Haena Place.
Haena Place is located a short distance from the park and is a great home away from home for tourists and visitors alike. With two bedrooms and 1 ½ baths, this is an exemplary house for small families of four or less. It is situated on a quiet cul-de-sac and is only a short walk from many great beaches. Plus, unlike a hotel room, it’s fully furnished and has a good-sized kitchen full of equipment.
A few added amenities include cable television, a DVD player, a telephone, and a glorious deck that overlooks the lush tropical mountains. But mostly this house is amazing because of its location and price. So if you are planning on staying near the North Shore during your vacation, check out this property. I just know that your family will love it here.
I understand that Kauai can be expensive. After all, you use up some money flying to the island, only to have to afford housing once you arrive. However, don’t let that detour you for Spring Break this year. You could rent a four-bedroom house for yourself and several of your friends and save a fortune. And I have just the house for you: Nani Kai.
Nani Kai has lots of space and is perfect for a Spring Break getaway. There are several beds and lots of floor space, so you can house a whole bunch of your friends. Plus, Nani Kai is close to town and a short walk to the beach, the local bars, restaurants, shops, and everything else Hanalei has to offer. This way you don’t have to spend a fortune on transportation.
Renting a house is great for Spring Break because you can be as loud and as messy as you want, as long as you pick up before you leave. And you don’t have to eat out for every meal unless you want to do so. You could stock the house with food and even cook meals in your own kitchen. And for the guys who want to play with fire, there is even a BBQ on the property.
Nani Kai has a big back yard for running around with friends and playing touch football and other games. There is a romantic gazebo in back for privacy and a view of the mountains from the house. Other amenities include high speed internet, a washer and dryer, and air conditioning for those hot and humid days. So consider coming out to Nani Kai for Spring Break this year. If you split the cost, you could well afford a dream vacation.
Recently I was asked for information on a vacation rental here on Kauai. A couple I know with three children wanted to come out, but they had specific tastes. Their exact words were “unique and modern,” and I had the perfect place in mind: Hale Oli.
After one look at this recently completed home, you’ll know why I chose it for them. The architecture is like nothing else you will find, and its uniqueness gives it strength. The inside has been newly furnished with the perfect blend of modern and old school furnishings. And the hot tub is a big draw for any crowd. But there is much more to this house than meets the eye. Here is why I chose it for this family.
Families with small children love having multiple things to do during the day. Children, I have noticed, run on two settings: lightspeed and sleeping. So I wanted something for them that had the uniqueness they were searching for and entertainment for the kids. This house had it all: a hot tub, cable television, DVD player (and VCR for old school parents), CD player, high speed internet access, and an easy 5 minute walk to the nearest beach. There was so much for this family to do, I was sure they would enjoy their vacation without worrying about anyone getting bored.
And for the parents, there had to be a little something special. Hale Oli is the perfect romantic getaway, even with kids. There are three lanais to choose from, so there is always a place of solitude, and the views from this house are some of the best on the island. The house is located in Haena, a gorgeous spot at the end of the road on the north side of the island. From the house, you can see Mount Makana and the rest of the majestic Haena mountains. Plus, there is an incredible ocean view from the east lanai. On the back lanai, the couple could take late night trips to the hot tub to watch the stars and dream about their lives together. It seemed absolutely perfect.
Of course, they aren’t the only family who needs a place to stay on Kauai. If this house sounds like something you would be interested in renting for a while, then make that call. I can think of no better place for relaxation, comfort, fun, enjoyment, romance, and uniqueness.
If you want to visit the caves or anything else on the north shore of Kauai, chances are that you’ll want to stay somewhere nearby. Might I recommend a Hanalei vacation rental for your stay? Hanalei is a quaint and lovely town filled with art lovers and friendly people. And it is one of the most beautiful places in Kauai, for it has the Hanalei Bay (the most sought-after tourist spot on the island). So if you are up for staying in a welcoming place with natural and artistic beauty, how about staying in Lokelani?
Lokelani is a vacation home in Hanalei just 200 steps from the sand of beautiful Hanalei Bay. So, you will be right in the middle of things, able to walk to the beach or into town for a quick shopping trip or a meal in one of the fine restaurants. Not to mention the fact that there is a gorgeous garden and views from the house of the distant waterfalls and turquoise bay waters.
But, of course, the location isn’t everything… though it sure counts for a lot. The house itself is lovely, with bamboo floors and artistic touches throughout. There are two bedrooms and an extra daybed, so up to five adults can sleep there comfortably, and there are two bathrooms so there will be no fighting over counter space in the mornings. Plus, this home comes with all of the best amenities from a full-service kitchen and laundry room to high speed internet, television, and an outdoor grill for cooking up some of the local flavor. If you want to walk down to the beach for a swim in the bay, you can. And when you get back, you can easily rinse off in the outdoor shower so you don’t drag sand and saltwater into your home.
The freedom of having your own getaway home is a priceless comfort, and this house provides exactly what you need: living space, the ability to escape the crowds, a kitchen to save you money on eating out, closeness to shops and the beach, and a wealth of things to do. In fact, the only thing that I didn’t like about this house was the quilt on the bed. It was perfectly warm and snuggly at night, but I didn’t like the colors. And if that is the only thing I can find to hate about this house, I think you’ll be truly happy with it. Enjoy!
The Christmas season is behind us, but New Years is just around the corner. And, of course, what better way is there to celebrate the New Year than to take a Hawaiian vacation?! So for those of you who want to visit the island, have I told you about Blu Nui?
Blu Nui is a wonderful vacation rental located right in Hanalei, one of the most popular areas of Kauai. With two bedrooms and one bath, this spacious home rental is perfect for a small family or a couple who want to get away for a while. Let’s talk features.
Blu Nui has just about everything you will need to be comfortable and happy while you’re here. With a full kitchen, high speed Internet, a plasma television with DVD player, a gas grill, a washer/dryer combo, and an expansive yard, this rental has it all. Plus, it’s only a short 5-minute walk to Hanalei Bay, the most beautiful and well-known site in all of Kauai. Now, let’s discuss the house itself.
The first thing you will notice about this rental is the ceiling. This rental has gorgeous cathedral ceilings that give the entire space an open and majestic feel. The floors are bamboo, so you have a Hawaiian feel all throughout the house, and each window offers a stunning view, from mountain landscapes to rainbow-accented waterfalls. There is even a back lanai, covered for your comfort, that looks out upon the tropical gardens. Seriously, what more could you ask for?
This New Year, celebrate in style in your own Kauai vacation rental home. Ring in 2011 with luaus on the beach, surfing lessons for the kids, and romantic dinners in our gourmet restaurants. There truly is no better way to spend a holiday.
Do you like granite counter tops, private getaways off of pristine golf courses, fully furnished vacation homes, and all of the amenities you can dream about? Well, then I suggest you book Villas of Kamalii 11 the next time you’re on the island.
First of all, let’s discuss location. This rental is the best of the Villas of Kamalii, located in a private area of the greenbelt with an amazing view of the golf course. There are no other houses around, so you’ll have a private getaway all to yourself. However, it’s located on prime real estate in Princeville, so you’ll never have to worry about being far away from the action.
The amenities are also one of a kind. With flat screen televisions, a swimming pool and hot tub, a barbeque, beach toys in the garage, and internet access, you will want for nothing. The kitchen is fully equipped and the home is fully furnished. There are two master suites, one with a queen bed and one with a king, plus a third bedroom with two twin beds and a guest bathroom. This means that you can bring the whole family and enjoy a fun filled week on Kauai.
Now, when you are on vacation, you’ll want to stay in a place that’s relaxing, peaceful, fully equipped, and fun. This villa has all of those things, plus an $1100 per week price tag that simply can’t be beat. Just check into local hotel prices for seven days if you don’t believe me. Plus, unlike a hotel, you’ll have the freedom to do what you want, when you want to do it.
Of all the vacation rentals on Kauai, this is the one I’d move into if my house burned down. So I’m recommending it to you. Come and see the beautiful side of Kauai from the luxury of your own golf course vacation rental.
Since we were just talking about a whale watching trip to Kauai, I figured now would be a great opportunity to discuss where you would stay while there: The Tides. Wouldn’t it be great to have a vacation rental overlooking the water, giving you the chance to whale watch from your bedroom window?
I think so.
If you want a great place for whale watching and south shore fun, then The Tides is the perfect vacation home for you. With large windows in every room providing you with ocean views and with a short path down to the beach from the backyard, this home is truly the perfect whale watching experience. Simply bring your binoculars and enjoy the view.
But of course, there is a lot more to this house than a view of the ocean. With three bedrooms, three full bathrooms, and an extra queen-sized daybed in the living room, you can bring your entire large family to the island or take a “couples trip” with a few friends, filling up the house with laughter and fun. The Tides has an open layout and approximately 2500 square feet, which is perfect for a large group. And since the high speed internet is free, you can even bring some work associates along and make it a “working trip” to remember. Talk about a great conference room!
However, keep in mind that, because of the private property location, the wonderful views, the beachfront nature of the house, the beautiful lawn and lanais, and the amazing indoor features, The Tides is pricier than your typical Kauai condo rental. This tropical getaway is going to run you around $429 a night, which won’t be affordable for some families. On the other hand, with several couples or work partners going in together on the expenses, you are sure to have an easy time collecting the money required.
Enjoy your stay!
Do you have a couple of kids who have never seen Hawaii? Well, there is a Princeville Plantation rental waiting for you on Kauai.
This plantation house is located at 4771 Pepelani Loop in Princeville. That means it’s on the north shore near several beaches, from Anini Beach to Hanalei Bay. With beds enough for four, the accommodations couldn’t be more perfect. And, if your family is larger than four, there is also a sofa that folds out into a queen sized bed, giving plenty of space for everyone.
This home rental also has air conditioning, so the humidity of our tropical environment won’t bother you while you sleep. With a large, fully furnished kitchen to make meals, a full sized washer and dryer in the home, and a plethora of beach toys located in the garage, this truly is the perfect getaway for a family with kids. Plus, it is priced well at only $125 a night. With Hawaiian hotels charging just about as much for far less, you would do well to put your money into this rental home instead.
And in case you’re worried about getting bored, you should know that this home is only a short walk from the Princeville Resort, the Princeville shopping center, the Princeville spa, and the Prince golf courses. There is also a public library and a children’s park not far away. So you’ll never run out of things to do and places to visit.
Don’t wait until your kids are grown and out of the house to take a dream vacation. Bring them along and enjoy the best accommodations that Kauai has to offer.
Okay, today let’s go for big, beautiful, and on the beach! When you’re looking for an Anahola Beach House with enough room for a large family or a private party, it pays to know about this bodacious beauty right on the sand. With seven bedrooms, seven full bathrooms, and 5,000 square feet of opulent accommodations, you can get lost in this wonder of a rental. Plus, did I mention it was only a few hundred feet away from the water?
This comfortable beach house located at 4274 Poha Road has modern furnishings, a private courtyard, free wireless internet access, and an outdoor BBQ area complete with garden showers for rinsing off after some fun in the ocean. It is perfect for a large group of individuals or couples who are traveling together, especially if money is an issue. At $7,000 a week, you can either have a very large house all to yourself or you can invite everyone you know and make a party of it, splitting the cost between the lot of you.
The best part is that this house is on the east side of the island, giving you access to everything eastern Kauai has to offer, from Fern Grotto and the Kauai Museum to Kilohana Plantation and Kipu Falls. In fact, the east side also has Lydgate State Park, by far one of the best family beaches on the island. After renting this house, you can truly have a great time exploring the east side of the island right from your own backyard. What could be better?
