Our party of 4 adults stayed in Pu’u Poa 107 the first week of March 2013. We had plenty of space, nice and comfortable accommodations and of course beautiful Hawaii just outside the doors. This is an end unit so you gain another window or two in the kitchen area. The stairs were a bit much for the older ones (70′s) in our group to handle each time we came and went. The parking is plentiful and close, very little to no neighbor noise. I was hesitant about booking here only because I had read NO reviews on this specific unit but we gambled and felt like we won in the end. The property management company was easy to work with and we never heard anything from them during our visit. The whales were fantastic to watch each morning as are the surfers and the outriggers- bring your binoculars. There is a closet packed with lot’s of beach essentials. Just a few chairs, towels, boogie boards, beach umbrella and a few coolers can be found. We spotted some sea turtles at Hideaway beach which was beautiful and truly hidden away-it’s not for those who may have young children, be older or out of shape (or both). You can access the more crowded beach below the St.Regis easy enough with TONS of stairs on the left of their property and on the way back we cheated and used their elevators to avoid the stairs without a problem coming or going. If our travels brought us to the north shore of Kauai again we would defiantly stay in this lovely home if available. L.L

My wife and I stayed in your Hanalei Bay Villa # 15 rental Nov. 1 – Nov. 10, 2012. This is the third time we have rented one of these villas. As always, the small separate houses offer a unique condo-rental experience- your own private home with no other tenants upstairs, downstairs or on the other side of the walls, beautiful grounds, windows and views on all four sides, great view of the bay and mountains to the west (sunsets!) from our lanai, and convenient proximity to the St. Regis Hotel, beach and all the other attractions of Princeville and the town of Hanalei. This unit was no exception, and the spacious 2 BR floor plan gave us lots of room to spread out. We want to give a special thanks to the agents at Oceanfront Realty for the easy rental arrangements, spotless conditions when we arrived, and even accommodating our late evening plane departure by allowing us a “courtesy late check-out” on our last day (possible because the next tenant was not arriving that day)! The north shore of Kauai is our favorite part of Hawaii, and all worked out perfectly for our 10 days in paradise, and we look forward to our next stay- hopefully not too far in the future.C.S.

Well appointed comfortable and excellent choice for your stay! This property has beautiful views (pictures dont do it justice!!) awesome private pool and hot tub, the albatross were nesting right in the cul de sac. Adjacent to the home is an easement that you can use to access an awesome hike down the hill to the sandy beach. Don’t pack anything as this house is also well stocked with beach chairs, towels, boogie boards, games, snorkels, you name it, its probably there for use. Mahalo to the owners for sharing their slice of paradise with us all at a very affordable price WA

Excellent vacation! Our unit was clean, in good condition, convenient to everything, and had magnificent views. Management was very responsive to the one minor issue we had, so customer service was excellent. We would love to have the SAME unit the next time we return to Kauai. Air tour of Kauai on Wings over Kauai was a highlight, but our Pali Ke Kua abode was the best part of our trip!D.A.

Just wanted to touch base to tell you our time at Hale Ylang Ylang was a memory to tuck away for all time. We loved it and found everything perfect. Even the weather cooperated…..between the mist and the brief showers that seem to be what make the North Shore so beautiful. Loved the mountain views from our lanai the best. I am just writing to say we LOVED Sealodge A6! Thanks for letting us know about it when we inquired about other places that weren’t available. We are now thinking someone must have cancelled because otherwise we don’t know why such great unit would have been open at the last minute. . . We are already hoping to come back next winter. We loved the little beach down the trail, the view was great from every room, and the unit was exactly what we needed. By the way, you should know a pack-n-play fits perfectly in the bedroom closet with plenty of extra space — it was a perfect tiny bedroom for our baby — for future parents of young kids that might wonder about where to put one if they stay there since it’s just one bedroom. We played this game trying to see if there were any utensils or supplies that weren’t provided…I think maybe we came up with one (pineapple corer).
